Transfer .uk domain to another provider

In order to transfer a .uk domain to WIS you will need to arrange for the existing host to change the IPSTAG of the domain to: WORLDWIDE

Usually the existing host will require confirmation of the change of tag in a signed letter or fax.

If you are unable to get the existing host to change the tag you can ask Nominet to change the tag for you. Please note that there is a fee of £10 plus VAT payable to Nominet for this. To do this please visit Nominet's web site at:

Alternatively, you can leave the domain on its existing tag and just change the nameservers. Please email wis@worldwide.co.uk so we can let you know what nameservers to use.

However, please note that if you just change the nameservers the existing host will still be responsible for administration and billing for the domain.
